To answer some Frequent Asked Questions:

QUE: Does your rate cover everything?

ANS: All Tour pricing does not include Meals, Museum or Park Entrance Fees or Gratuity.

QUE: do you have more than one van?

ANS: Yes, We have several six passenger Vans.

QUE: Do you find other people to share the tour?

ANS: No, But you can bring others along to share YOUR PRIVATE TOUR.

QUE: What is your price for just 2 passengers?

ANS: I do not charge per person, Prices are Per Tour and our Vans can hold six passengers and the Driver/Guide.

QUE: Do your tours cover time for lunch?
ANS: On tours of 5-7 hours we can include a time for lunch, or drop you at local Restaurants after the tour.

QUE: What is your cancellation policy?
ANS: If you make a booking There are NO REFUNDS within 7 days of your arrival date.

If you are arriving by ship and it does not stop at Halifax, we accept that as a cancellation and you will be refunded all but a 10 percent office and credit card fee.

QUE: Do you do the tour if it rains?
ANS: Yes I tour rain or shine. But tours will be cancelled for extreme weather.

Disclaimer:

Our rate is $75.00 Canadian per hour and overtime charges are caculated per half hour.

If you wish to pay in cash at the time of the tour, please let us know in the text box on the Booking Form.
(There is a discount for cash payments, due to not having credit card processing fees.)

The purpose of the credit card information is to hold your booked tour with us.
Once we receive your credit card information we will email your Tour Confirmation within 48 hours to you.

Your credit card will be charged one week prior to the tour, unless you are paying in cash.
You may cancel up to one week prior to the tour and there will be no charge.

You will only be charged for the following reasons. If you fail to cancel your tour with us, prior to, one week before your tour is scheduled, and/or fail to show up for your booked tour. Your credit card will the be charged a fee of $75.00 per vehicle ordered. This charge is to cover your driver/tour guides time, associated office, and credit card fees.

(If you are arriving by Cruise Ship and it does not dock, and/or extreme weather prevents a tour, we accept this as unpreventable and you will be refunded all but a 10 percent office and credit card fees.)

Tour prices do not cover meals, entrance fees to museums, parks, attractions, buggy rides, wine tasting, winery tours or boat fees. Driver gratuities are also not included in the price structure.

Halifax Taxi Tours is a (six passenger taxi-van) one owner-operator tour service, based in Halifax Nova Scotia, one hour from Peggys Cove.

I am fully insured plus professionally licensed and double-checked by the Taxi Commission and Port Authority.

All of my tours are Personal Tours, you have the van and guide all
to yourself. It is YOUR tour and we can customize the itinerary, as you wish.
